Staying Put

For some young people in foster care it is appropriate for them to stay with their carers past there 18th birthday.  We call this ‘Staying Put’.  If this is something that is right for you and both you and your carer’s want to pursue this option, your social worker can help and will be happy to talk to you and your carer together or individually about this as an option.
