Guide Dogs - North East

Guide Dogs exists to provide life-changing services to the 360,000 people who are registered blind or partially sighted, and the two million people in the UK living with sight loss.
We provide a range of services with and beyond the dog to help thousands of people with different needs lead confident, independent and fulfilling lives.
The services we provide include:-
- CustomEyes books
- Family events
- Assistive technology and grants
- Education support
- Mobility training
- Family support
- Sensory equipment and grants
- Guide dogs for children and young people
- Buddy dogs
We cover five counties in Northern England, including Teesside. We simply want anyone with sight loss to be able to get around independently and do what they need and want to do in order to live a full and active life in their community.
Our team could help you or someone you know and if we can't, we'll endeavour to find a provider who can. If you think we can help you or someone you know, or you'd like to find out how to support the work of Guide Dogs, please visit our website.
