Gemma Louise Leonard

Hi, I’m Gemma offering a loving and nurturing home from home environment that welcomes children as part of our family.  I am a qualified primary teacher with early years specialism and have over 15 years childcare and education experience working with babies and children from 6weeks to 13 years old.  I live with my partner and 2 children aged 5 and 2 in Norton. Children will be able to use all the downstairs in our home including our playroom with year-round access to a spacious, enclosed garden equipped with a playhouse, sand pit, mud kitchen and planting areas.  I follow a gentle discipline philosophy and believe in nurturing the whole child with emotional development and feeling safe & secure as important as learning and other areas of development.  We use the outdoors and nature as much as possible alongside exploring our local area and offering a wide range of other activities such as baking, crafts and imaginative play to support each child’s individual development and learning needs.
