The Bungalow Partnership
The Bungalow Partnership supports children, young people and families across Tees Valley, providing a range of therapeutic support that aims to improve emotional wellbeing. We provide therapeutic support to a number of schools in Stockton, Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland. We also accept referrals from Local Authorities, private day nurseries and private referrals from parents. Our therapists come from a wide range of therapeutic fields including play therapy, art therapy, psychotherapy, counselling and psychotherapeutic counselling. We are therefore able to tailor our therapeutic approach to the individual needs of each child, young person or parent.
In addition to the provision of therapy we also provide group interventions to schools regarding transitions, self-esteem, communication skills and nurture groups. We provide consultancy and advice to schools and Local Authorities regarding the needs of children and young people, and also offer supervision and counselling to school staff, pastoral and safeguarding leads.
Our training provision delivers workshops and in-school training on a wide range of topics including:- attachment, emotional regulation, loss and bereavement, therapeutic stories, Using sand to support the emotional wellbeing of children and autism awareness.

The Bungalow Partnership supports children and young people who have additional and/or complex needs. We support the emotional wellbeing needs of all children and young people and our specialist therapists offer a range of therapies such as play, drama and art therapy, that are supportive to children with communication and emotional regulation difficulties.
We also provide specialist family therapies including Filial therapy, Child Parent Relationship Therapy and Filial Coaching. These therapies enable families to develop attachment rich communication methods which aim to support family cohesion.
