Tees Valley Rural Action - Community Use Mini Bus Service

Tees Valley Rural Action is member of the Community Transport Association, we provide a not for profit mini bus transport service which is a scheme to keep the voluntary organisations, sports clubs, community or faith groups, schools and charities of the Tees Valley on the move with affordable transport #driveforwardteesvalley. Community groups do not need to be Rural.

Tees Valley Rural Action have two 16-seat fully wheelchair accessible minibuses can be booked with or without a driver for as little as a few hours or for as long as a weekend.  As long as your group joins our membership scheme we operate under a Section 19 licence.

Drivers – Groups and organisations are able to use their own drivers. A valid UK drivers’s licence will need to be checked and for insurance reasons drivers have to be aged 21-69 and been driving a minimum of 2 years. All your driver would need is a short induction along with your returning your groups membership.  If your groups doesn’t have a driver, TVRA has a pool of volunteer drivers, who continue to give their time freely – please ask for details when you join.  We provide full driver training including MIDAS, Passenger Assist and DBS checks.
