Redhill Family Hub - What's On November to December 2022

Redhill Family Hub is open and we have a range of activities and courses that you can attend from now until the end of December 2022.

Talking Teens, 9.30am - 11.30am

A 4 week programme, Talking Teens aims to increase parents’ understanding of teenagers’ feelings and behaviours, and improving relationships.

Solihull Parenting Programme, 9.30am - 11.30am

6 week parenting programme on how to understand your baby. Suitable for parents with babies 0-6 months old.

Babies attend the group with their parents.

Nurturing Parenting Programme, 9.30am - 11.30am

A 10 week programme to help parents understand themselves and their children better to lead to a happier life.

Family Picture Frame, Tuesday 8 November 3.30pm - 5.00pm

For parents and children to enjoy together.

 

Healthy Start Clinic, 10.00am - 11.30am, weekly

Contact your Health Visitor to arrange an appointment to have your baby weighed.

 

Henry, 9.30am - 12.00pm 

An 8 week course looking at health, nutrition and exercise in children under 5.

Change, Grow, Live (CGL) 9.30am - 5.00pm, every 3 weeks

For anyone to discuss in a safe, confidential space struggling with drug and/or alcohol issues, providing education, information and brief interventions

Sleep Workshop, 12.30pm - 2.30pm, once every term

An informal 2 hour workshop that looks at the importance of getting enough sleep - not just for children but also for grownups. 

For Parents/carers with children from 10 weeks old up to 10 or even to get hints and tips for their own sleep problems.

Air Clay, Thursday 24 November 3.30pm - 5.00pm

For parents and children to enjoy together.

 

Babbling Babies 10.00am - 11.30am, weekly

Parent & Baby group with play, chat, singing & stories.

Suitable for pre-walkers. 

 

Family Support Team Coffee Morning, 10.00am - 11.30am

Are you are a Special Guardianship carer to a child in your family or maybe you care for a child/ren because you are a friend of the family, also known as kinship or connected person, you might be looking for support and information about Special Guardianship.

 

Daisy Chain Parent Support Group, 10.00am - 12pm

These sessions are for families of children who display characteristics associated with neurodevelopmental conditions including autism, sensory processing differences and ADHD.

 

Let’s Talk, 1.00pm - 2.30pm, weekly 

An informal, drop-in session for parents to discuss any issues or concerns they may be experiencing at home.

Christmas Wreath Making, Friday 9 December 9.30pm - 11.30pm  -

An enjoyable workshops for adults.

 

Baby Massage, 1.30pm - 2.30pm

SPCF (Stockton Parent Carer Forum) Coffee Morning, 10.00am - 12pm

An informal group where you can come and meet other parent/carers of children with special educational needs and or disabilities.  

 

Roseworth Big Local Coffee Morning, 10.00am - 11.00am

Weekly coffee morning.

Christmas Paper Crafting, Thursday 15 December, 3.30pm - 5.00pm

For parents and children to enjoy together.

 

Family Biscuit Ninjas, 3.30pm - 5.00pm

A weekly family games club for all to enjoy, wtith biscuits.

 

 ‘Breast Friends’ Breastfeeding Support Group, 10.00am - 11.30am

These groups are the perfect place for expectant, new and experienced breastfeeding mums. 

Drop in and have a friendly chat with other mums and access support from trained staff and peer support volunteers

 

Volunteer Led Stay & Play Group, 1.00pm - 2.30pm   

For tots of all ages, from 0 - pre-school. The group is great for socialising in safe environment.

 

Baby Yoga, 1.30pm - 2.30pm

A 4 week programme suitable for babies from 16 weeks old.

The Cafe is open 10am-5pm Monday to Thursday and 10am-4.30pm on Fridays.
