The Cleveland Carving Club in Billingham have been helping locals carve a legacy into wood for almost a decade. The group is now looking for new members to join.
If you enjoy the art of woodwork in good, friendly company, come down to St Cuthbert’s Church Hall in Billingham on Thursdays from 11.30am to 2pm and Saturdays from 9am to 12pm.
There is a monthly charge of £12, paid by standing order, with a yearly membership costing £5. The group welcomes carvers of all abilities but anyone from thirteen to sixteen must have adult supervision. Club tools are available for beginners.
