There are over 65,000 people living with HIV in the UK. HIV does not discriminate on the basis of gender, race or sexuality. But society does.
Positively UK's peer-led services support over 1,000 people living in the UK every year. They support people to come to terms with HIV diagnosis; manage complex treatment regimens; and through practical support such as accessing hardship funds. Their groups allow others to meet other people living with HIV, talk openly about HIV in a safe and supportive environment and build lifelong support networks.
