Focus Day Training
A service providing mindfulness-based support for adults, young people and their carers. We provide workshops and courses to teach people how to deal with stressful and difficult situations using the techniques from mindfulness based practices and discussions using evidence from neuro science. Many young people experience busy minds as they grow up and as a consequence this can create stress and anxiety.
Our trainer, Jonathan Lee is listed on the UK Mindfulness Teachers Listing which follows strict guidelines and training requirements. At present Jonathan is the only mindfulness teacher in the Teesside area with this level of training. He is also qualified to teach the '.b Mindfulness in Schools Course' which is our recommended course of choice for anyone aged beteween 11-18. For those with learning difficulties this is ideal up to the age of 25.
All courses and workshops can be delivered on site, at school or in an agreed venue. Courses can hold up to 20 people and smaller groups as well as 1:1 sessions.
Courses are also suitable for carers as a way to deal with the stressors of supporting young people.

- All costs are dependent on the length of workshop or course and whether or not the support is 1:1 or in groups. We take into consideration of the venue and also the particular needs of the individual or group.
