- Review of Foster Carers and supported lodging providers
When children and young people become 'Looked After' by the Local Authority, the team are involved in the independent reviewing of the services provided to them. The team also review plans for children who have left care until they reach independence.
The team are also involved in the independent chairing of conferences in relation to children and young people who are believed to be at risk of harm. The team also review the cases of children and young people who are the subject of a child protection plan.
Foster carers and supported lodging providers who care for children and young people for Stockton Borough Council are also reviewed by the team.
