Places to Play

There are lots of places to play, exercise and have fun in the outdoors in Stockton-on-Tees.

They include: 

• adventure play areas  
• skate parks  
• all weather ball courts  
• outdoor gyms 

The biggest play areas are at Wynyard Woodland Park, Romano Park, Ropner Park, John Whitehead Park and Preston Park. 

There are over 40 other play areas in parks, country parks and other green spaces across the Borough including 2 skate parks, one in John Whitehead Park and another in Preston Park.
