Sporting Chance for men aged 50 plus

Bored or at a loose end? Want to get off the sofa, get active or make new friends? Then Sporting Chance is for you.
Our activities include:

Tuesday, weekly | 2pm | Online exercise | Free | Your phone, tablet or laptop. Please contact Gill Watson for the Zoom code |
First Wednesday of the month | 10am | Social meet up with light refreshments | Free | Thornaby Central Library, Thornaby Town Centre |
Wednesday, weekly | 1.15pm | Walking football | Free for 4 week trial then £2 per session inc cuppa afterwards | Norton Sports Trust, Station Road, Norton |
Thursday, weekly | 10am | Mixed activity, rota of badminton, volleyball, basketball and circuit | Free | Queens Campus, Durham University, Stockton-on-Tees |
We also have rolling programmes including healthy cooking, annual outings, one-off events and more.
It is easy to get involved; just give us a call or drop us an email and come along and see what’s on offer. If you’re feeling unsure, our friendly band of volunteers will make sure you’re given a warm welcome.
