Look Good Feel Better (LGFB)
Look Good Feel Better (LGFB) is the only international cancer support charity that helps boost the physical and emotional wellbeing of people undergoing cancer treatment.
Our main objective is to help boost the confidence of women, men and young adults undergoing cancer treatment at what can be a very difficult time in their lives. We aim to help them literally look good and feel better.
Held in hospitals and cancer centres throughout the UK, each session (normally 10 -12 attendees) is hosted by qualified volunteers. They teach vital skills from helping to correct uneven skin tone to re-creating missing eyebrows. From a light stroke of eye pencil to a splash of lipstick, you’ll learn lots of tricks of the trade to help boost confidence and self-esteem. For men the focus is more on skincare, shaving and grooming. We also have plenty of online tutorials and advice for women, men and young adults.
We’ve also created lots of printed materials and online tutorials for those who are unable to attend one of our sessions or who would like some extra advice.
This event takes place every three months, for further information on times and dates please contact the team.
