Virtual Musical Memories - Young At Heart ULO

Young At Heart is a friendship group for people with dementia and their carers to attend together.

The team at Young At Heart ULO have been busy developing a virtual and telephone service whilst lockdown stops us from meeting face to face. Our virtual programme can be accessed through a web browser or using the Zoom app on a smartphone or tablet device.

Virtual Musical Memories

Is a virtual singing group with older people, people living with dementia and their carers in mind. Sing along with Trish and her guitar to memorable songs from yester-year and enjoy a violin interlude performed by Beth. All are welcome to join in our virtual singing circle hosted using the Zoom platform every Wednesday morning at 11am.

For further information on how to join in please visit our website.

Although the sessions are completely free to attend, ULO do ask that those who are willing and able to contribute to running costs make a voluntary donation, but this is completely optional as it is more important that people who need the service are able to access it regardless of finances.

We welcome carers independent of the person with the memory problems/dementia. So, if you feel that you would benefit from a peer support group ran by other carers please do come along, regardless of whether the person with the memory problem attends.
