National Osteoporosis Society

The National Osteoporosis Society is the only UK wide charity dedicated to improving the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of osteoporosis. The charity was established in 1986 and has since grown into a well respected national charity with approximately 25,000 members and over 50 members of staff.

Osteoporosis literally means ‘porous bones’ and is often referred to as the ‘fragile bone disease’.
