As well as offering appointments at our offices, our teams also work in the community setting such as:
- School
- Youth Clubs
- GP Practices
- Carers Centres
- Children’s Centres
Families can make a self referral by contact the office in their local area.
Once a child or young person is accepted into our service there will be a Lead Professional who would be your point of contact but if they are not available another member of the team would be very happy to help.
Other agencies can make a referral by telephone, fax or letter to their local office.
We provided a range of services to children and young people up to the age of 18.
Our Targeted Service can be accessed if families / young people have:-
- Relationship issues that have ongoing impact on daily life
- Mild/moderate anxiety
- Low mood
- Sleeping difficulties
- Eating difficulties
- Low risk self harming behaviour
- Low level psychosomatic presentation
- Significant changes in presenting behaviours
An assessment will then be made and if appropriate would be referred to Tier 3 (specialist) CAMHS / LD CAMHS
- Neuro-developmental disorders including; Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) with psychiatric co-morbidity
- Eating disorders including Anorexia and Bulimia
- Psychotic illness including both positive and negative symptoms
- Anxiety disorders including; panic attacks, separation anxiety and phobias.
- Mood disorders including depression and bipolar disorders
- Obsessive compulsive disorder and Tourettes
- Deliberate self harm
- Attachment disorders
- Emerging personality disorders
- Learning disabilities and challenging behaviours
Our buildings have waiting rooms and consultation rooms which are wheelchair accessible; there are accessible toilets and baby changing facilities in our offices.
