The activities are designed to stimulate and engage children with little or no vision but at the same time are enjoyable for the whole family. They can include anything from kayaking to cookery classes. Skills workshops are also specifically designed for vision impaired children (cookery, team building exercises, makeup tips for older girls) - not only to increase the level of skills but also to gain confidence in all aspects of daily living and social life.
Family support and information service provides advice relevant for families affected by a child's or young person's sight loss.
