Health Visitors - Stockton
Health Visitors will support you to give your child the best start in life. <SEND>
They can give you support, discuss any concerns you might have and offer you advice and where to find help if you need it and put you in touch with groups where you can meet other parents. Any time you feel you need some extra support you can call your health visitor. They can help make sure that your child has the best start in life and what help is available to you from the birth of your child up to four years old.
Health visitors are based either in Family Hubs or Health Centres in Billingham, Stockton and Thornaby.
All antenatal mums are allocated to a named health visitor, referred by community midwife, who will support the family once the new baby is born. Other children are transferred in or out via Child Health, a named health visitor will be allocated on receipt of the child's details.
