Situated within a specially designed centre, Huntercombe House Stockton provides specialist care for children with intellectual disabilities including Autism and Asperger's Syndrome. <SEND>
The centre offers children a safe and homely environment, whilst ensuring that they receive a high level of individual care and professional support.
The Active Care Group take a person-centred approach to care planning. On admission and, regularly throughout their stay, each child is assessed on their own personal capabilities to work out what their goals are now and for the future. This enables the team to ensure that each child has access to the correct level of care and support at the right time to allow them to accomplish their goals. Families are involved in all on-going decisions in a patient's care.
