Allana Gray Childcare Services
Ofsted registered Childminder in Yarm <SEND>
I'm currently working as a co-childminder at an outstanding provision with Sandra Gray. I was previously her assistant, where we were graded outstanding. I have a lot of experience in the childcare education service. I work professionally, catering to each individual child's needs and requirements. Experienced in the EYFS ages 0-5, and love working with children; finding it easy to communicate with them on their level, and provide a warm environment for them to feel safe and cared for. I am fully paediatric first aid updated and have safeguarding certificates. Along with continuous CPD training, I also have experience with SEND. I also have a full clean driving licence, and provide full days out for the children, as well as having business insurance on my car. We like to take our fun and learning outside and create real life experiences 'outside the classroom' where possible.

SEND provisions:
I have experience with different SEND needs including communication and interaction needs; cognition and learning needs; social emotional and health difficulties; sensory and/or physical needs. These vary from child to child so I communicate with prospective parents prior to starting up and produce a risk assessment and care plan to gauge the setting's ability to deliver care and education to the individual. We particularly have experience with Autism, ADHD, visual impairment, sensory processing disorder, type 1 diabetes, and child anxiety.
