Tees - Wheelyboats
We are a volunteer organisation that provides accessible and safe boat trips on the River Tees between Stockton-on-Tees and Yarm for folk with any form of disability.
Being on the water can be soothing but can awaken the senses to the sights and sounds of the river.
We run The Wheelyboat trips for people with any form of disability, physical or mental health, together with their friends, family or support.
Usually starting from The River Tees Watersports Centre in Stockton, trips are generally one or two hours. A two hour trip takes us to Preston Park where we can disembark for a picnic or ice cream.
