Princess Alexandra Auditorium and Friarage Theatre

The Princess Alexandra Auditorium is a stunning 750-seat performance venue on the banks of the River Tees. The Auditorium is a fully flexible space which includes a Studio Theatre and a Recital Room. Refreshments can be enjoyed from the bar in the Atrium before shows and during intervals.

The Friarage Theatre provides a more intimate space with 140 seats, it hosts live screenings from theatre companies such as the National Theatre and Royal Shakespeare Company, and smaller events such as lectures and concerts. Refreshments are served from the modern foyer space before screenings and during intervals.
