Independent Support Service (Aspire)
The Independent Support Service is a new government funded programme which aims to provide additional support to help families of children and young people with SEN and disabilities to progress through the new S.E.N.D. assessment of education, health and care planning. <SEND>

The Independent Supporters will provide independent help, advice and support to families by offering a range of time-limited support such as liaison across different agencies and advice on personal budgets. The level and nature of that support will be tailored to the particular needs of individual families.
Aspire Personal Care Solutions (PCS) have been commissioned to recruit and train Independent Supporters to support families in Stockton-on-Tees.
