Reading Friends
Do you love to read? Reading Friends brings people together, using reading to spark conversations and get everyone chatting. You don't need to be an expert in literature - simply have a love of reading you would like to share to make a difference in your local community.
As a Reading Befriender, you'll be helping to tackle loneliness in Stockton Borough by using books and reading to share stories and start conversations over the phone.
Our leaflets give more information whether you want be a reading friends volunteer or to have one of our volunteers read to you.
