I am an OFSTED registered childminder based in Thornaby. I offer a homely and welcoming environment to ensure your child feels relaxed. The children form wonderful friendships and learn the importance of being kind and respectful to one another, using manners, taking turns and sharing. I have a separate playroom and promote natural play, encouraging children to explore with their senses and encourage imaginative play. We do lots of craft and play activities and love to bake. We love the outdoors, visiting parks, nature reserves, woodland, farms etc. We have a large back garden where we grow our own fruit and veg and home to our pet chickens. We attend playgroups, soft play centres and music/dance classes etc. I follow the early years foundation stage guidance and provide the activities and resources to ensure your child achieves in all areas of learning and development. I received the 'Outstanding' grade in all areas on my two most recent OFSTED inspections.
