The Singalong Songbook - The Globe
Did you know that singing helps relieve stress, stimulate the brain, improve lung function, enhance memory, improve mental health and general good mood?
Come and join us for the 'Singalong Songbook' from 1:30pm to 3pm, at The Globe.
Expect hits from across the decades from Vera Lynn to The Beatles, George Formby to The Dubliners!
No singing experience is necessary and the session is open to anyone living with dementia and their carers.
We welcome carers independent of the person with the memory problems or dementia. So, if you feel that you would benefit from a peer support group ran by other carers please come along, regardless of whether the person with the memory problem attends.
£6 per participant, 1 carer admitted free of charge, payable on the door via The Link café next door to the Globe. Tea and coffee is available at The Link Cafe next door (card only).
