Getting Together Matters

At Volunteering Matters we believe everyone should have the opportunity to thrive.

We offer a diverse range of volunteer led activities and different levels of support including:

• telephone only service groups to engage those people not yet digitally connected
• activities by post providing quality content and engagement
• quality engagement and learning, for example, creative writing, singing and exercise
• online activities for others to engage with other people and reduce isolation
• opportunities for older people to volunteer and run their own online groups
• weekly classes with trained facilitators to keep older people more mobile and less likely to fall
• we work with social prescribers and GP's across the UK
• we work with local communities to find out how to support their older people getting online
