Tees Valley Parkinson's Support Group aims to make sure that people with Parkinson's get all the information they need.

Tees Valley Parkinson's Support Group

We direct them to reliable sources of information including:


•Parkinson's UK website, helpline and the local advisor
•local exercise opportunities
•new developments in research and opportunities for taking part

We also organise special events such as fund-raisers, outings, cinema visits and short local walks. 

The Tees Valley Parkinson's Support Group hold two meetings per month 

1st Friday at ARC, Stockton Arts Centre, in Dovecot Street, Stockton-on-Tees, TS18 1LL.

3rd Friday at COOP function room, Millfield House, 99-109 Norton Rd, Stockton-on-Tees TS18 2BG

First Friday of the month, from 10:30am to 12pm

We meet in ARC's café, on the ground floor, offering friendship, information and a chance to talk. There is no charge - just buy a drink of your choice and join us. The café meeting offers plenty of time for us to talk to you and for you to get to know us.

Third Friday of the month, from 10:00 to 12pm

We meet in the COOP Function room ,Millfield house TS18 2BG . Tea and coffee and cake will be waiting for you when you arrive

We offer:

  • a range of activities including crafting, quizzes and chances to get active
  • regular informative talks and guidance from health and support professionals
  • We also support the carers who look after people with Parkinson's. Carers are very welcome to come along to the support group.

Cost

  • Free entry however, any refreshments will need to be paid for in ARC cafe
