Sne Care Services
We provide care to all ages from birth. We engage in short breaks covering the whole of Teesside. Our Short break services provide respite opportunities for individuals who require care and also a respite for their current caregivers.
We accept packages via a way of referral from the local authority, private packages of care that may come in directly, and we also consider referrals by word of mouth recommendations.
Our services can include recreational activities, day trips, overnight stays at the home of the service user, or specialized programs designed to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities or additional care requirements. They not only offer a chance for caregivers to rest but also provide enriching experiences for those receiving care, fostering independence, social interaction, and enjoyment. Upon accepting a referral or package of care interest, we will allocate a senior carer to come to your home for an assessment, which will include a detailed description of all of your needs- this is done on our electronic careplanning system Birdie, which you will also be given access to.
We have skilled staff that are trained in Autism, Epilepsy, Makaton, First Aid, Team Teach, NAPPI, Oliver Mcgowan, PEG, Chest physio, Suction Therapies, and NG feeding. We also have accessible facilities where we can offer short breaks respite in our hub in Middlesbrough where there is a range of activities including music, arts and crafts, biscuit making and painting, reading, computers, games and social activities.
