A Safe Place is a place where people can go if they don't feel safe or need some help, it's a place in the community that people know is there in the case that they need it. There are many Safe Place locations across Teesside, you can see a full list of locations and access more information on our website.

Teeswide Safe Place Scheme

A Safe Place is for anyone who might be/feel vulnerable, this can include people with:


  • a learning disability
  • autism
  • a physical disability
  • dementia
  • someone suffering from abuse or neglect

  • A Safe Place can provide a point of contact for anyone who needs it, a safe, friendly, welcoming environment where people feel able to ask for help.
