Pioneering Care Partnership Growth Hub Stockton
Health and wellbeing charity, Pioneering Care Partnership (PCP) is proud to offer a Growth Hub in Stockton - offering a space for support, growing communities and a thriving garden centre and café. <SEND>
We are a specialist progressive bespoke centre providing training and work experience opportunities to adults with autism and learning disabilities, as well as alternative provision for children with a learning disability who are struggling to achieve in a mainstream school setting. We operate as an open to the public garden centre and developing community gardens where we can grow fresh vegetables and flowers.
We support students after they have left SEN Schools to create a pathway towards independence, learn new life skills and take part in a wide range of activities to enhance their wellbeing and social skills. Service users, will interact with customers, learn new skills in horticulture, learn how to maintain the site, work in the wood departments, enhance their culinary skills in the kitchen, All activities are designed to help progress life skills.
With clients at the heart of what we do we allow them to experience working in a real life setting that is open to the public. Our aim is to continually nurture and yet challenge our service users to become independent with the aim of supporting them into employment or voluntary work. Seeing our fully inclusive community and by buying the hand crafted products that our service users make and grow ensures that we continually work with our local and regional community and that you have an opportunity to give to our charity in a practical way, seeing the benefits of their work in the true sense.
