MeSign BSL is a specialist accessibility provider, established in 2013. MeSign is dedicated to bridging communication gaps between hearing and Deaf communities. MeSign British Sign Language Specialists

The MeSign team is comprised of qualified National Registers of Communication Professionals working with Deaf and Deafblind People (NRCPD) Registered BSL Interpreters, experienced BSL trainers, Communication Support Workers, and dedicated consultants passionate about promoting Deaf awareness and inclusion.

MeSign strive to create a world accessible for everyone. Our services include:

BSL interpretation 

Professional interpretation services for meetings, events and appointments. Deaf Relay translations available upon request.

Professional training and workshops

Engaging workshops to learn BSL and promote Deaf awareness.

Consultancy, workplace consultancy and accessibility support 

Expert advice on creating accessible environments for personal and professional needs.

Community outreach

Supporting deaf people to feel confident and independent at home and within the community. We provide tailored support to access local services, social activities, events and community opportunities. Helping individuals build confidence, reduce isolation and maintain independence.

BSL community groups

We are home to:

  • Thornaby Deaf Club
  • Deaf Men's Group Teesside
  • Good Morning BSL coffee morning and education sessions to promote information, advice and guidance to the Deaf Community.

Can be made by professionals, family members, advocates or self-referral via email, text message, telephone call or video call.
