Crisis Resilience Fund

A crisis and resilience fund payment is immediate financial help for people facing a short-term emergency. A crisis is when someone cannot meet essential, immediate needs because of a sudden financial shock or unexpected drop in income. To be eligible for the payment you must be aged 16 or over and have no other form of immediate financial assistance.

The CRF in the Stockton-on-Tees area is delivered by Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council and funded by the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP), replacing the Household Support Fund and Discretionary Housing Payments. Emergency financial support can be provided same-day or 48-hour grants.
